CARSTAR Old Town

The Carstar Midtown crew is does good work but SLOW. The person who knows the schedule doesn’t talk. Ashley, the lobby lady is nice but far from whoever has the plan. They need to implement “Project Management”; it has been around 60 years and works well for many industries. I was told three weeks and got my car back a day short of THREE months. That is after dropping by twice and calling about six times. Carstar was strongly recommended by Acuity, my insurance carrier, and specifically Midtown since East and West were slammed. With management changes this location could be a viable choice for body repair!

We had an accident March 11th, 2024. Someone ran a red light and we were hit in the front end of our 2019 Mercedes S-560. After calling Walser Mercedes I was told to call Carstar. We had the car delivered to them at the OldTown location. It took several months for the body shop to receive the parts from Mercedes, but once the car was done the body work was perfect!! We picked the car up and was making the 3.5 hour trip back home when a “radar sensor dirty” alert appeared and the cruise wouldn’t engage. CarStar is the best body shop in town. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. They do through repairs to ensure your car is fixed right the first time. Highly recommend!
